Zweisimmen is situated at the foot of the Rinderberg and is often called the portal to the skiing area of Gstaad. With over 250 kilometres of ski-runs and its own summer skiing area on the glacier, each and every skier can manage perfectly here. And for those who wish even more, the skiing area of Lenk-Adelboden, with another 170 kilomtres of ski-runs, lies at a distance of only 15 minutes by car. For your children there is a complete children’s ski-park. This means that you can go skiing by yourself every now and then, knowing that your children are safe and well taken care of. Children, until the age of nine, are free of charge for their skiing passes.

So, all in all, over 400 kilometres of ski-runs, in an area which has recently set up an investment fund to invest another 70 million Swiss francs in the expansion and improvement of its winter sports facilities. For the next couple of years the region of Gstaad is determined to remain a top destination.

The plateau Sparenmoos, with a snow guanrantee, also offers a great deal of alternatives for non-skiers, like excellent cross-country skiing areas, splendid footpaths, toboggan and many nice snow slopes for children to go sledging. And if the outdoors is too cold for you, there is the indoor swimming-pool of Gstaad, complete with for instance sauna, solarium and Roman baths.
